GuardDV is a security application that allows for automated enforcement of protection orders. Our application maximizes the capabilities of  smart monitoring technologies to protect survivors of domestic violence by using Active Global Positioning System (ActiveGPS) and International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI). For the first time, Guard DV provides survivors of domestic violence with real-time information about the safety of their surroundings, or threats that may arrive from potential violations to protection orders right on their cell phone. With smart monitoring, GuardDV is dramatically increasing situational awareness for survivors, allowing them to prevent high risk situations that may result in physical/emotional  harm or loss of lives.
